RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
State of the Union address will be interesting
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
Obama sucks and his presidency should be revoked!!!
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
For you to even post somthing like this just proves how ignorant of a person you are "chevygirl". How about a little respect? Regardless of your opiniion, he is The President of YOUR United States Of America. I wonder how YOU would do taking on the job of President. Hmmm?? You are the kind person that makes this union they way it is. Ignorant, stupid and just plain not educated. Some one with any of those atributes would NEVER speak or write the way you did. You could have said your opinion with a little more respect and inteligence.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
interesting survey. I think Obama neds more time to achieve his goals and it would help if the Republicans could stop being so partisan and sniping at his efforts.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
although i am a democrat i could not in good concsious vote for this man.he is a great orator but not a good president in my opinion.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I approve of the President but not the congress

RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I did not vote for him the first time because we here in PA are just a bunch of old dumb white folks which, way is the discrimination flowing know.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
Pres.Obama has too much obstruction form the Rep. Party..No co operation at all
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
cantwait for part 2 of this study. i am looking forward to the state of the union address. President Obama is full of Ideas sadly most of us know that without support of house & senate the ideas can go nowhere which in some cases is good.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
i did not vote for him the first time & will be thrilled when his term is over if he doesnt destroy the country before its over
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I FEEL THE PRESADENT IS DOING HIS VERY BEST . BUT HE IS HAVING A STRUGGLE WITH ALL THE PROBLEMS WITH THE REPUBLICANS
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I like this idea. Hopefully Obama will surprise me tomorrow and say something that I can half believe. For now, I am totally against him and his socialist cronies, and I intend to do efery thing I can, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to ensure that this is the last political office he steals from the American people.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
So far I believe President Obama is trying hard to dig the U.S. out of the hole created by the previous administration.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
As far as the President goes is not the color of his skin..as long as positive changes could have been made.
But the fact he made promises before he was elected and once he was in the White House he could not come good with any of it!All we have ever needed was a President that would make that positive change for the USA,and we have not had that!
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I love Obama and he is doing a good job
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE WHAT HE HAS TO SAY IN HIS SOU ADDRESS
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
obama is no good for the country
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
Thank you for the opportunity. As far as B. Obama, I don't want ot hear anything from him until he gets people back to work. People are still getting layed off. that should be his first priority, not healthcare of anything else. get people back to work and a lot of problems also get solved.

Unlike most Republican politicians (and at least one former Republican President), Obama can walk and chew gum at the same time.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I am glad that HCD Surveys are taking this survey, because I believe that Obama is doing okay as President in his first year....There isn't much you can do as a President in the first year as most of the other Presidents before him.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I AM VERY DISCOURAGED WITH BARACK OBAMA'S PLANS AND CHANGES. HE IS TAKING THIS COUNTRY ON A DOWNWARD SPIRAL LIKE NO OTHER.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I wish Obama the best but worry he is just way to liberal and needs to become more center.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
At this point in time I feel that the now sitting President is to dam full of himself and thinks he can walk on water. He sure did lead us down a very rosey path while he campaigned.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
Don't care for any of Obama's big government policies. I'm a Libertarian and I'd like to see the government get out of a lot of things and get a lot smaller. He's only part of the problem. Most of the blame goes to Congress and the 4th branch of government (bureaucrats)
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
We need a president that is an American. One that believes in our country. That is proud to salute the flag and keeps our country's values that were founded on. We DONT want muslin in this country. Why are so many people so blind.

I like muslin. I especially like my 180 thread count sheets. What we don't need in this country is more ignorance and low information voters.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
the only thing this administration is doing is trying to insure a majority of democrats in all seats of gov
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I gave you my honest opinion. I do not like him or his wife. She needs to get rid of all those severants that she has so we can have a raise in SS checks. Us Seniors need the money to live on & buy food.

I don't think they (especially the Obamas) call them servants any longer. They also need jobs to feed their families and you really can't be serious in wanting the President of the United States, or the First Lady, spending their time on domestic chores, can you? Did you worry about this during Bush's Presidency? Probably not.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
Obama promised that the people would get to take part in the plan for healthcare. That is not the case. The people know what they need. Not the Government!
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
IIcant say i dislike President Obama, Just feel he is making some really serious mistakes.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
i think obama is doning really well for us. good man.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
If congress and the President want that health care they are trying to set up for all of the people in America why don't they be the first ones to take it, if it is suppose to be so good, then matbe all of America will take it.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
You aught to do something simular about other high ranking politicions
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
The President campaigned for changing the way Washington worked. But yet the actions and arrogance by the majority and President has brought backroom deals on healthcare, they know better than the American people, millions being misspent on "pet" projects and yet companies are laying off employees. But does the Pelosi/Reid curtail their spending, NO. Last night's news reported on Pelosi's trips -- Washington hasn't changed since Obama was elected. There was hope but so far the promises made have been broken.

RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
President Obama is doing a great job against all odds. His enemies are trying to pull him down. The way politicians and commentators behave these days, they ought to be ashamed of themselves. People had more class years ago. The country is going to the dogs because of the trashy people in the media.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I BELIEVE OBAMA IS HAVING A HARD TIME BECAUSE OF ALL THE NEGATIVE FORCES AROUND HIM THE NO POARTY HAS DONE NOTHING TOI HELP AMERICA.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I think Pres. Obama took on too many problems at once. I think he should have tackled 2 problems and got them solved before moving on to other things.

I think Republican ideology gave our President too many things that must be handled for him to effectively concentrate on one or two. That ideology bringing our country so close to a total economic melt down hindered how he must approach his leadership. I don't believe it to be totally coincidence and wouldn't put it past Republicans to engineer such a disaster to disable a liberal agenda.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I voted for Obama and was looking forward to the difference his fresh look on things could make but I am sadly disappointed.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
You are assuming that people vote for a candidate .I find that most people vote against a candidate :"anybody but Bush"kind of vote.

I don't understand. Perhaps you could explain what your idea of a socialist is and which of Obama's policies qualify him for that title. I know socialists, and Obama isn't one. He is perhaps the most centrist President since Eisenhower.

We have many parties. None of them, except the regular two, ever get more than 5% of the vote. Perhaps the tea baggers will change that and kick the corrupt Republicans to the curb.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
Looking forward to what he has to say..Good or Bad...Success or mistake...
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I BELIEVE HE IS GETTING A BAD RAP FOR SOME OF THE THINGS THAT HE IS TRYING TO FIX THAT WERE THE LAST ADMINASTRATIONS DOING.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I wanted him to win originally but now I am so sorry I voted for him!!!!
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
we need a health care plan but it need more time and detail better
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
why ask people- we have no real control over who gets in the government
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
The real problem is congress. I think we should vote them all out, and start over.
Term limits are needed.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I am sure many feel that Obama's plans are not good for our economy, but if we do nothing we will get nowhere, so SOMETHING has to be done. I guess over the next few years we will see what these, somewhat drastic measures will show. I am with him, at this point.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I ithink the polls speak on how the people feel. If there is no jobs for people it doesn't matter how cheap insurance is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
My major concern is that the Democrats have not rebutted some of the nonsense that Republicans have thrown out to the media.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
Obama=Carter 2, only much worse.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
so since barak needs votes for his health care, he gives states free health care so they vote for him? wow...what a great prez we got...lol

RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
It is time some listened to the American people, there is a grass roots movement out here to remove all who are in office now. This has been a bunch of crap and it has worn thin.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
One has been taught to respect the office of the President, but this past year has been a challenge. Our country is in dire straits, and a state of confusion, with no light at the end.
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I totally beieve that President Obama only has the best interest of every American
RE: Obama State of the Union PreTest
I think President Obama is doing a great job. You can not expect anyone to change what happened to this country in one year. It will take several. If he didn't have such unfavorable help from the government (republicans), he would have a better chance to do what he sets out to. Give hime time. Accept the fact that this will take a very long time to make right for everyone. As the saying goes, one day at a time. I wish him the best.

I also support this President. I don't agree with your thought of forcing that support on others though. Dissent is the foundation element of our nation and should never be squelched. We just had eight years of dissenters being called "unAmerican" and "traitors" and I don't want to go back there, even for our guy. Just let the ignorant know how ignorant they really are and they will eventually recede back into the obscurity they enjoyed before Palin brought them into the limelight.
