New Clinton Ad Aims to Fire-Up Pennsylvanians' Over Obama's Remarks

Flemington, NJ, April 15, 2008 – A new national study among 400 self-reported Democrats and independents revealed that there was little movement among voters after they viewed a new ad by Senator Hillary Clinton.

The communications research study was conducted earlier today by HCD Research and the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion to obtain Americans’ perceptions of a new ad by Senator Clinton in response to Senator Obama’s controversial remarks that unfulfilled promises from Washington have left some Pennsylvanians "bitter" and clinging to guns or religion.

While viewing the ad, participants indicated their levels of agreement by moving their mouse from left to right on a continuum. The responses were recorded in quarter-second intervals and reported in the form of curves. Participants were also asked pre- and post-viewing questions regarding their likelihood to vote for the candidates. To view agreement curves, go to: www.mediacurves.com

This video spoke well of Hillary Clinton, and it was very sincere and believeable. It exposed Obama's motives for what they really are, and gave hope for the Clinton campaign. This was a good video.

In my opinion, Hillary Clinton needs to step up her criticism of Obama to stir up emotion and to sway undecided voters in her favor. Unfortunately, people feel that someone promising "change" to BIG government is their best bet. But historically, it showed that promises made during a presidential campaign can easily be broken. I remember the first George Bush campaigning - :Read my lips, No New Taxes.." did he deliver? He did not. He went to address the nation that raising taxes was a necessary evil. Now would Obama make changes to BIG gov't - I highly doubt it since lobbyists and special interet groups have BIG gov't in the palm of their hands - and Obama will be too once he becomes president. Change you say? I'll believe it when I see it....
