Video of Casey Anthony's Attorney Elicits Feelings of Anger and Skepticism Among Americans
Overwhelming majority believe Casey Anthony is guilty of killing her daughter
Flemington, NJ, July 11, 2011 – A new national study among 868 Americans revealed that anger, skepticism and disturbed were the strongest emotions men and women felt while watching video comments from J. Cheney Mason, one of Casey Anthony’s defense attorneys.
The study was conducted during July 8-11 by HCD Research to obtain Americans’ perceptions of a video in which J. Cheney Mason lambasted the media and “talking head” attorneys for their behavior throughout the trial.
Among the Findings:
Respondents were asked to indicate the emotions they felt most while viewing the video from a list of emotions. Women reported that the “strongest emotion” they felt was anger, followed by skepticism and disturbed, while men reported that the “strongest emotion” they felt was skepticism followed by anger and disturbed.

While viewing the video, participants indicated their perceived levels of agreement by moving their mouse from left to right on a continuum. The responses were recorded in quarter-second intervals and reported in the form of curves. The participants were also asked to respond to post-viewing questions.

I believe she was guilty but the procesution did not prove their case so the jury was correct to declare her not guilty.

While I agree that she is probably guilty, I support the jury's verdict because there was still reasonable doubt. Am I happy with that verdict, no. But do I agree that they made the right decision, based on the evidence presented, yes.
I don't think the public can have much influence in keeping the media out of the courtroom. I also don't think the general public has much influence on our broken criminal system.
I totally disagree with the comment made by the same person that flipped the bird to the media press, I would not want this clown as my lawyer as well as the Baez with his shooting guns to the camera, real ethical, These two are children, I am embarrassed for them, especially when a child's life was lost and they were acting like fools in front of the world, you may have one a case but you have lost your dignity. I don' t admire lawyers that take a case knowing that their clients had something to do with or commit themselves such a hideous crime, they are lowest forms of humans that do things for money, pathetic, so whatever comes out of their mouths is just trash.
the prosecution didn't prove their case -this girl hasn't been found guilty by anyone except in the media and they have totally ruined this person's life -that's the real tragedy.

Casey was GUILTY, and she knows it. She'll get her justice in due time.
they should have let someone else from the firm speak, I do think he made a valid point that other lawyers not involved in a case do not need to be on TV giving any opinions, its just the news medias way of being involved in things better left in the court room it makes them look like a gossip talk show instead of the news.
Casey Anthony should have been convicted of Child Abuse and Child Neglect, but not enough evidence to convict of first degree murder
CASEY WAS GUILY AS SIN, SHE KNOWS IT AND HER ARROGANT ATTORNEYS KNOW IT. THEY OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR TAKING THAT CASE TO BEGIN WITH. THEY WERE LOOKING FOR MONEY AND FAME. SHAME ON THEM ALL.
