President Obama's Address on BP Oil Spill Fails to Move Voters


Flemington, NJ, June 15, 2010 – A new national study among 2,010 Americans conducted after President Obama’s speech tonight in which he addressed the BP oil spill revealed that the post speech response was at best, neutral and among some segments leaning toward negative regarding perceptions of the viewers.

i'm glad president obama spoke about the bp spill. im so glad i sold my bp stock 2 weeks ago.

Difficult subject for everyone with lots of different opinions, but I thing Obama is doing the best he can with something that's a disaster no matter how it's handled.

Obama's speech was nothing more than a promotion for the Cap and Tax program.
Is there nothing he won't use for political gain? The cleanup is being botched daily.
If he was toothless immediately after the explosion, why didn't he step aside and allow
the entrepreneurs to proceed? Surely suspending the Jones act and loowing the Dutch
skimmers entrance into the Gulf could have been one effective solution, among many others.

I hate that Obama is trying to use this to push his Cap and Trade bill through. Horrible to politicize this tragedy to further his agenda. Is it November yet?
