I think that it would not have been noticeable without the subtitle, and that the media is drawing more attention to it than they should.

I understand that profanity has its place but this was disgraceful from a person in that position.

I think you are making a big deal of a whispered impromptu statement. Why don't you focus on the outspoken negative outbursts and incitements of violence from politicians?

I enjoyed the opportunity to voice my opinions about the conduct of our government. It shows NO class for our government to conduct itself like this and makes us all look like idiots without the ability to use restraint or proper grammar.

It is unthinkable for a public figure to speak in this manner...I can hardly believe he did that.

I definitely do not approve of a public figure using profanity on TV or during a public appearance.

If you seldom or ever curse, it is sometimes the best way to prove a point. This is not a big deal at all.

Even though our people in government have a duty to be respectful and professional, and to be good role models as citizens, a little joking or swearing makes them more human to the people.

Because of the status of the person and the public nature of the situation (i.e. - being on camera), the profanity was innapropriate. Public officials ought to be respectable as well as likeable. Since we have a voting society, all elected officials are on a job interview every time they step in front of a camera. That said, I think this instance ought to be moved on from quickly.

America was watching with their families and to use profanity at that time was very stupid. Use your brain, think before you speak.
