Flemington, NJ, September 9, 2009 – A new national media study among 400 viewers of President Barack Obama’s speech yesterday in which he addressed U.S. students on the importance of education, revealed that the majority of all political parties indicated that the speech was effective.
The study was conducted by HCD Research using its MediaCurves.com® website last night, to obtain viewers’ perceptions of President Barack Obama’s speech yesterday to the nations’ students in which he emphasized the importance of education.
The study also revealed that Democrats and Independents reported that ‘inspired’ was the emotion they felt most while viewing the speech, compared to Republicans who reported feeling ‘skeptical,’ while viewing the speech. An overwhelming majority of all parties indicated that it is appropriate for a president to address the nation on the subject of education.
