Flemington, NJ, March 10, 2008 – A new national study among 502 male and female respondents revealed that the majority reported that Governor Eliot Spitzer should resign after viewing his apology regarding his involvement in a prostitution ring.
The communications research study was conducted today by HCD Research to obtain Americans’ perceptions of a video segment from Governor Spitzer’s press conference in which he apologized for his involvement in a prostitution ring.
While viewing the video, participants indicated their levels of believability by moving their mouse from left to right on a continuum. The responses were recorded in quarter-second intervals and reported in the form of curves. To view believability curves, go to: www.mediacurves.com
