Flemington, NJ, July 22, 2009 – A new national media study among 303 viewers of Joe Jackson’s interview on Larry King Live revealed that an overwhelming majority of viewers (87%) reported that Joe Jackson did abuse his son, Michael even after he vehemently denied these claims during the interview.
The study was conducted by HCD Research using its MediaCurves.com® website on July 21, to obtain viewers’ perceptions of Joe Jackson’s interview on Larry King Live in which he denied allegations that he abused his son, Michael.
Among the findings:
“Please rate Joe Jackson on the following attributes where 1 represents ‘Not at all strong in this attribute’ and 7 represents ‘Extremely strong in this attribute’”

While viewing the video, participants indicated their levels of sincerity by moving their mouse from left to right on a continuum. The responses were recorded in quarter-second intervals and reported in the form of curves. The participants were also asked to respond to post-viewing questions.
