Flemington, NJ, January 5, 2008 – A new national study among 302 Americans revealed that although the Holocaust love story “Angel at the Fence”, has recently been proven to be false, the majority of respondents (85%) believe that Herman Rosenblat had good intentions for writing the book.
The study was conducted by HCD Research during December 31 and January 4 to obtain viewers’ perceptions of a video news clip in which author Herman Rosenblat justifies his reasons and explains his intentions for wanting to publish the made-up story.

While viewing the video clip, participants indicated their levels of believability by moving their mouse from left to right on a continuum. The responses were recorded in quarter-second intervals and reported in the form of curves. The participants were also asked post-viewing questions.
The Media Curves web site provides the media and general public with a venue to view Americans’ perceptions of popular and controversial media events and advertisements.
