Flemington, NJ, December 3, 2009 – A new media study among 284 Americans revealed that the majority (80%) reported that Connecticut’s attorney general should sue CVS after viewing a news clip about CVS selling expired products in Connecticut.
The study was conducted by HCD Research using its MediaCurves.com® website on December 2-3 to obtain viewers’ perceptions of a news clip about CVS selling expired products in Connecticut. To view interest curves and detailed results go to: www.mediacurves.com.
The majority of viewers (62%) stated that they would be less likely to purchase products from CVS after viewing the video. In addition, participants who indicated that they were less likely to purchase products at CVS reported that they would most likely shop at Walgreens.

While viewing the video, participants indicated their levels of interest by moving their mouse from left to right on a continuum. The responses were recorded in quarter-second intervals and reported in the form of curves. The participants were also asked to respond to post-viewing questions.
