Flemington, NJ, March 22, 2010 – A new media study among 1,217 physicians revealed that a clear majority of physicians (80%) who reported that they had an unfavorable view of health care reform plans, also indicated that they would be less likely to enter the medical field today due to their knowledge of health care reform.
The study was conducted by HCD Research and the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion (MCIPO) using the MediaCurves.com® website during March 18-19, to obtain physicians’ perceptions of current health care reform in the U.S.
The majority of physicians (71%) indicated they had an unfavorable opinion regarding the Obama administration’s current plans for health care while 29% reported that they had a favorable opinion of the plans for health care reform.
