One-Third of Americans Spent Less Money Celebrating Halloween this Year

Halloween
Nearly half of consumers purchased Halloween "treats" at grocery stores

Flemington, NJ, November 2, 2009 – A new national media study among 202 viewers of a video news clip on Halloween spending revealed that one-third of responders (31%) spent less money celebrating Halloween this year in comparison to last year.

The study was conducted by HCD Research using its MediaCurves.com® website from October 29-November 2, to obtain viewers’ perceptions of a recent news clip on Halloween spending. To view interest curves and detailed results go to: www.mediacurves.com.

The majority of viewers (86%) reported that they purchase candy as the “treat” they distribute to trick-or-treaters. Almost half of the respondents (48%) indicated that they purchased treats at grocery stores.

This opened up the sub prime mtoagrge mess to illegal aliens and contributed to the explosion of minority homeownership that ended so badly. Once again, you speak of that which you do not know.Nationally, for loans more than 90 days in arrears, ITIN mtoagrges had a delinquency rate of about 0.5% last year, compared with 9.3% for subprime mtoagrges, according to independent estimates. The reason for this is simple, in order to get an ITIN mtoagrge the credit history scrutiny is much more strict than that of conventional Social Security mtoagrges.getting an ITIN mtoagrge is harder than that of getting a conventional property finance loan. People with the ITIN ordinarily have a credit standing that's documented. Because of this, the typical history perform needed giving this type of mtoagrge is a bit more difficult and even more frustrating than for a conventional property finance loan. In addition, charges and home interest rates are usually higher than for other sorts of personal loans in an effort to recompense loan providers for your extra trouble and additional threat. Lastly, ITINs were not ever bought by Fannie or Freddie. In spite of their strong performance, ITIN mtoagrges were never purchased by government sponsored enterprises (GSEs) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Now I am not going to pretend that I am in favor of illegal aliens receiving mtoagrges, but if you are going to point to them as the reason or at least a contributing reason for the market meltdown of 2008, then I felt it pertinent to point out your folly.I don't think we need to delve back into the fact that while Barney Frank was telling anyone who would listen to him that there was no problem with Fannie or Freddie, the Bush administration tried to call for investigations into the GSEs, but the Democrats would have none of it...Reply

The video caught my attention on some parts, but lost it on other points. She had an upbeat personality and clear speaking voice, but didn't catch enough of my attention.

interesting... I think even in this economy we shouldn't let it affect our children's fun. Every household is cutting back...who can't afford a couple bags of candy. When it's gone, we will just turn the lights out. Sadly. Can't buy like we have in the past years.

I personally don't like the door to door trick or treating but I think it's fine as long as children are supervised but I also agree with only store bought candy still wrapped.
